Schools, young people & families

In October 2025, Xu Qiuli took part in legal education at schools in Mengla and Mohan, Yunnan, covering awareness of rights, the prevention of bullying and self-protection. In March 2024, her work in Nyemo, Tibet, included sessions for villagers, students and parents on legal awareness, school safety and family education.

She also participated in the 2021 Liangshan school legal-education initiative. The project as a whole reached 22 schools with 24 talks; these figures describe the team’s collective work, not her individual speaking count.

Community & rural legal education

Her public-interest record includes family-law education for women’s federations, schools and community organisations, volunteer legal consultations and contributions to rural radio programmes. Topics include women’s rights, the protection of children, marriage and inheritance, and communication within families.

China Media Group’s rural radio programmes recognised her contributions through legal-education ambassador awards and letters of appreciation. She also participated in a Jingshi community legal clinic in September 2024.

Interdisciplinary collaboration

The Xu Qiuli Innovation Studio connects legal work with psychological perspectives. In 2022, she organised more than 20 lawyers to participate in volunteer psychological-support work for older people and contributed to lawyer wellbeing initiatives.

Teaching & mentoring

Teaching appointments and professional activities include practical law courses, youth legal education, mentoring for lawyers and training on legal research. The emphasis is on useful, understandable knowledge and careful professional reasoning.
